Traumatology. Bone fractures
Hearing the diagnosis of a bone fracture often causes anxiety and many questions for a pet owner. One of the primary concerns is: will my pet be able to walk and run as they did before the trauma?
Fortunately, modern veterinary traumatology has advanced to the point where we can truly restore the joy of movement to your pet. Through surgical procedures, we stabilize broken bones using specialized locking plates, pins, and other fixation devices.
In the upper X-ray image, you can see a real case—a fracture of a puppy’s left tibia. In the X-ray below, the same tibia is shown after surgery, stabilized with a locking plate. Today, this puppy is back on all four legs!
At “Siaurio Šnauceris” veterinary clinics, our surgeons have extensive experience in traumatology and are ready to help your pet recover.
