cPSE
cPSE is a canine prostate-specific antigen used to diagnose prostate cancer, monitor treatment progress, and detect prostatic changes in their early stages. This test can also be performed on healthy male dogs for preventive screening to identify potential prostate disorders as early as possible.
Furthermore, the measurement of this prostate-specific antigen is particularly important in breeding, as it helps ensure the sperm quality and reproductive functions of stud dogs.
The cPSE test can be performed on young males starting from 6 months of age, coinciding with the onset of puberty. We recommend performing this test annually as a preventive measure.
The test is conducted using blood serum.
