Dora’s Story

Today’s hero is Dora, an 8-year-old Shih Tzu. She may be small, but the discovery in her bladder was massive—a 4.5 cm urolith that surprised even our most experienced team members!

Dora was brought to our clinic after suffering from labored urination for some time, and her owners had noticed small stones in her urine. A clinical examination and X-ray confirmed the presence of a significant urolith. During the subsequent surgery, we successfully removed a stone measuring 4.5 cm in length and nearly 3 cm in width, along with dozens of smaller stones.

Today, Dora is recovering comfortably at home and is eagerly looking forward to having her stitches removed.
