Antonio’s story
In the photo is an impressive four-legged friend – a 10-year-old Cane Corso named Antonio.
Antonio suffered a car accident, during which his femur was broken (you can see it in the upper X-ray image). After performing the necessary diagnostic tests, it was decided to carry out an osteosynthesis surgery using the locking Rita Leibinger system, which allowed the fractured femur to be fixed, restoring the integrity of the femur and the function of the limb (X-ray photo at the bottom). This system provides great limb stability during the postoperative period, so Antonio was able to start walking just a week later. At present, Antonio is completely healthy, feeling great, and enjoying a dignified old age.
