Pet arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure most commonly used in veterinary medicine for more precise diagnosis and treatment of knee or elbow joint ailments.

The main advantage of arthroscopy is that it is significantly less aggressive than traditional surgery. During an arthroscopic operation, several incisions of only a few millimeters are made near the joint, through which the necessary manipulations are performed using specialized arthroscopic instruments. It is important to note that these instruments are much smaller than traditional surgical tools; therefore, tissue trauma during the procedure is considerably lower, and the patient’s recovery is much faster.

At “Siaurio Šnauceris” veterinary clinics, we have experienced orthopedists who will be happy to examine, consult, and provide the appropriate and effective treatment for your pet.
