Vytautas Siaurys

In 1979, he enrolled in the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy and in 1985 obtained a qualification as a veterinarian.

After graduating, he worked for three years as the chief veterinarian of a collective farm in the Vilkaviškis district.

Since 1988, he worked at the then Vilkaviškis District Veterinary Station as chief veterinarian – gynecologist.

From 1989, he worked as a veterinarian – surgeon at Kaunas Zoo.

In 1990, he trained at the Moscow Zoo.

In 1991, he specialized at the Riga Zoo.

In 1991, he interned at the Tallinn Zoo.

While still working at Kaunas Zoo, in 1992 he founded one of the first small animal clinics in Lithuania.

In 2017, he opened another new clinic in Kaunas.

In 1993, he trained for two months at the Riodingo Small Animal Clinic in Denmark.

He regularly participates in Lithuanian and international seminars and practical trainings.
